Two Degrees is a story of partnership — of connection. The most important connection is between you and a child who is in need. The Two Degrees bar acts as a bridge that empowers you to feed that child. That’s a powerful connection.
That’s not the only connection though. We deliver our meals around the world via our partnerships with the best non-profits that work on the ground in countries where hunger exists. These organizations — world-class outfits such as Partners in Health, Akshaya Patra, Valid Nutrition, IMA World Health and World Food Program USA — give us the reach and expertise to deliver the right meals where they are needed most. That’s a meaningful partnership.
But it doesn’t stop there. Two Degrees also partners with organizations that help trigger the meal donations. These organizations purchase bars on a massive scale. Facebook, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, The Atlantic and AOL are some that purchase Two Degrees bars in large quantities and have made significant impacts on childhood hunger. We’re so grateful for these partnerships…and excited about their future potential.
Another relationship in this vein is our partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee. This fantastic group cares passionately about social justice and world health issues. They not only care, but they are continually taking action to make the world a better place. From humanitarian crisis response on the ground to civil liberty battles in the court room, the UUSC has a strong and clear voice. We applaud them! Two Degrees bars will now be offered at UUSC gatherings all over the nation. It’s a simple way for congregations to offer a healthy snack to their members and make a real impact on childhood hunger. Together, the UUSC and Two Degrees aim to trigger 100,000 meals through our combined efforts.
It’s incredible isn’t it? All this power in a simple snack.
Got any ideas for other partnerships? We’d love to hear them.
